Jacob Hadley - Lawyer
Jacob Hadley is a lawyer located in Vancouver, BC. He has experience working with Indigenous legal issues. Jacob graduated law school from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC. During his time in Law School, Jacob focused his studies on Indigenous Legal Studies, including spending time as a student clinician at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic (ICLC) in Vancouver. After graduating, Jacob articled in Criminal Law with a focus on representing and supporting Indigenous clients. Since being called to the Bar in British Columbia, Jacob has worked as a supervising law at the ICLC and a staff lawyer at Seniors First BC. Currently, Jacob is focusing his time on the Indian Boarding Homes Class Action and assisting class members in applying for their settlements. A significant part of his work is travelling to remote communities that do not have access to legal support.
Daniel Sinclair - Lawyer
Daniel Sinclair is a lawyer located in Vancouver, BC. He is from the Peguis First Nation. Daniel is a graduate the Peter A. Allard School of Law at UBC. During his time in Law School, Daniel focused his studies around Indigenous Legal issues. He spent a semester as a student clinician at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic. Upon graduation, Daniel split his articling term between the ICLC and with a senior Indigenous lawyer. Every day of Daniel’s career in law has been working with Indigenous communities. His legal experience, combined with his lived experiences, has shaped him to become an advocate for Indigenous People and this path has led right to assisting people with these Boarding Home claim form applications. Understanding and compassion are key elements to his practice.
